Flextock is a YC-backed company focused to power the next generation of commerce in the region by offering e-commerce merchant the ability to scale their online businesses on demand. For local online merchants, we leverage technology to efficiently fulfill and deliver their orders through our network of last mile providers. Our mission is to build the operating system for e-commerce in the region and empower merchants to grow their businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Business Development team responsible for merchant acquisition in Egypt.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback to team members.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key merchants and partners.
- Develop effective internal processes and collaborate cross-functionally with the Experience, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to ensure a seamless onboarding journey and strong satisfaction for new merchants.
- Provide accurate data and performance reports to management to effectively track the team’s progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
- Experience in logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel (e.g., for data analysis, reporting, forecasting).
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
