About The Role

As part of our ongoing growth efforts, we’re looking to build out a hyper local growth model, led by a cross functional area lead who will coordinate all sales, support and activation efforts across his area.

This role requires a seasoned sales leader who can drive results at the local level, while also effectively leveraging centralized resources and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have a track record of sales team leadership as well as experience with community marketing and engagement strategies.

Please note, this role will be based in Pretoria.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and oversee all localised, on-the-ground efforts within your assigned region
  • Hit growth targets and goals for your area of responsibility
  • Carefully coordinate and execute community marketing initiatives, as well as nurturing activities in your local market
  • Manage and lead local sales teams, providing direction and oversight
  • Work closely with local account managers to align sales and customer engagement efforts
  • Leverage strong central enablement teams and processes to support your regional operations
  • Drive strong adherence to process and systems across the team
  • Provide coaching and training where needed
  • Grow your understanding and influence in the region as a representative of Yoco

About You

  • Over 3 years of experience leading and managing a field sales or account management team
  • Familiarity with building and implementing community-driven growth strategies (preferred)
  • Proficient with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
  • Excellent communication skills to report progress and coordinate efforts up, down, and across the organization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • You’re driven by the vision of helping small businesses across the world thrive
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • You’re an entrepreneur at heart, love getting your hands dirty and solving problems
