About The Team

Yoco's Sales team is a dynamic force in empowering self-employed individuals and small businesses to thrive and grow in the ever evolving commercial landscape. Comprised of passionate sales professionals, who build diverse industry connections and deliver tailored solutions to our merchants through innovative products. The team contributes to Yoco's growth by expanding our reach and making a meaningful impact to the success of our merchants.

About The Role

We are seeking self-motivated, energetic and results driven Account Executives to fuel our sales success across a diverse range of industries. You will be 'on-the-road' meeting with prospective merchants and helping solve their business problems through Yoco’s products. The ideal candidate is a customer focused problem solver with exceptional communication skills, high levels of collaboration and proven sales experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work alongside the SDR team to Identify potential customers and prospects through research and networking.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.
  • Expertly assess customer needs and propose customised solutions through a consultative sales approach.
  • Drive successful sales negotiations and consistently exceed targets and quotas.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to achieve team goals.

About You

  • Currently in a customer facing, field sales role with at least a 5+ year success record in the technology (hardware & software), hospitality, digital payments and/or solar/energy sector
  • Some experience doing B2B sales with solopreneurs, small and medium sized businesses, preferably selling directly to the owners and founders of the business
  • Successful track record in generating and managing your own sales pipeline
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Own car and drivers licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • A problem solver, with a can-do attitude and customer centricity
  • Strong understanding of payments and/or hospitality software products is highly advantageous
